A little musing on Instagram
Oh yeah, Instagram has really put the joy back in snapping pictures.
The demise did not start with digital snaps. The snaps from normal pocket film cameras weren’t much to look at either. You could age the paper prints by hand of course - but i know very few people who did that.
Digital then added unnatural blooming and constantly too much reds.

after one and a half years our ways do part here. I really tried. Some facts:
Last September, I got a Samsung Galaxy. It didn’t ring for the first two days when it was called. The battery lasted about half a day, without wifi and I don’t phone that much. Multiple forum entries spoke of “you have to train the battery for a couple of weeks”. There was a software update...
